Sunnyfield's 68th Anniversary

March 16, 2020

Today Sunnyfield celebrates our 68th anniversary. The year was 1952 when a local Northern Beaches mother, Hazel Whiddon decided that she wanted a better life for her son.

The year was 1952 when a local northern beaches mother, Hazel Whiddon decided that she wanted a better life for her son. And so along with a group of local mothers Sunnyfield began. An inspiring beginning based on the love of a mother for her son and her will power to fight for a better quality of life for people with disability. It is these values that Sunnyfield has been built around and continues to be inspired by to enrich the lives of people with disability.
