Tweed Heads Hub

Tue 1st October, 2024  –  Fri 20th December, 2024

At Tweed Heads, you certainly won’t be short on sun, sand, and surf. Here you can get amongst it every day with Skills For Life, cooking, fitness, nutrition, and science activities. It doesn’t end there. Social groups include sailing, surfing, after school care, nights out, and events all week. For nurturing new skills, relationships, and experiences, it has to be the Tweed Heads hub.

Mondays

Manic Monday

Music and Micro Business
Are you interested in learning to play the guitar or bongo drums? Maybe you have a passion for singing or dancing. Our music program is perfect for you. We will explore different instruments, their complementary roles, and how to play them effectively. This program encourages musical expression and helps develop fine and gross motor skills, supports sensory and language growth, enhances hand-eye coordination, and fosters patience and perseverance.

Micro Business
On Mondays, our micro business comes alive with fervent energy and passion. We create unique products to sell at our local markets. Each group delves into the planning process, envisioning the type of items they want to bring to life. Through this journey, we not only learn how to craft a business plan and manage a budget, but we also learn money skills. This is more than just a project – it’s a heartwarming and exhilarating experience that fuels our spirits and ignites a fire within us. We are a powerhouse of creativity, determination, and boundless enthusiasm. Let’s continue to dream, create, and inspire as we forge our paths in the world of entrepreneurship.
