Supporter of May: Lions Clubs of the Northern Beaches

Lions Club members donate car to Sunnyfield

May 29, 2017

Lions Clubs from the Northern Beaches have played a crucial role in Sunnyfield’s journey, dating back to the 1960s. They have supported many activities including setting up fences and grass ovals at Sunnyfield sites, organised fundraising fetes and raised funds for transport.

In particular, the Lions Clubs of the Northern Beaches have continually supported Sunnyfield’s transport needs. In 1969 the Brookvale Lions Club donated a Toyota bus, and the Balgowlah Lions Club, Frenchs Forest Lions Club and the Australian Lions Foundation have recently raised funds for a 7 seater Toyota Prius which was celebrated this month!

Thank you to the Lions Clubs of the Northern Beaches for your continued support throughout Sunnyfield’s history. Your generosity has had an enormous impact on people with disability and will continue to do so in the future.
