Residents of Sunnyfield shared homes find new ways to form friendships.

This year has been tough on everyone with restrictions creating distance between family and friends. Residents of Sunnyfield shared homes, Peggy (Northern Beaches) and Sue (Tweed Heads) decided to think outside the box on ways they could stay connected and create new friendships. Both lovers of receiving mail, they took to pen and paper and formed a pen pal friendship.

Over the last few months, they have been writing back and forth. You’d be hard pressed to wipe the smile off their faces when the post arrives with a letter for them – a small reminder of how the littlest things can bring the greatest joy.
