This program is designed to turn old furniture into something trendy. You’ll learn how to upcycle and develop your building skills. Clients will acquire new skills in revamping, resulting in fantastic new additions that will be showcased in our centre for everyone to see.

AM: Health, Wellness, and Movement and PM: Gardening $3
Increase your knowledge of healthy eating, daily stress relief strategies, and fun ways to stay active! Gardening is a great way to end the day, offering benefits such as reduced stress, improved mood, and lower anxiety.

Bowling – Community Program $7
Enjoy light physical activity, cheer on your friends, and engage in friendly competition, all while building social and money skills. Please bring your companion card.

AM: Nerf Gun Target Practice and PM: Scrapbooking $3.00
Enhance motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and aim with target practice! Let’s design our own collection of target practice activities. In the afternoon, create a scrapbook filled with your favorite pictures, cutouts, or stickers to take home at the end of the term.

AM: Songs A to Z and PM: Music Trivia – Name That Song $3.00
Each week, we’ll play our favorite songs, starting with those that begin with the letter ‘A’ in the first week. We’ll end our music day with a game that’s been a hit at the centre ‘Guess That Song’. This event gets our brains thinking in a fun and engaging way.

AM: Crafty Cup Cafe and PM: Baking $5.00
While browsing our gallery, enjoy a hot drink and a sweet or savory treat. Once the café is closed, bake some tasty treats for your peers and visitors to enjoy on their next visit to our café.

Sunny Events $3.00
This program is based around a variety of skills. Clients will decide on themes for our centre events, such as cooking and helping peers celebrate birthdays. There will also be discussions and talks around social skills to help develop friendships.

Working on Our Fitness at St. Mary’s Centre Gym $3.00 
Come use the gym equipment at St. Mary’s Hub. Let’s work together as a team to build our health, fitness, and well-being while having fun socialising with our peers.

BBQ Party $5
Autumn is the best time to enjoy the outdoors, it’s not too hot and not too cold. Why not spend this beautiful weather with a BBQ lunch, listening to your favorite tunes, and socialising with friends in the fresh air?

Bingo $8
Socialise with peers while learning money and number skills by playing Bingo. We’ll run our own bingo game at the Hub, taking the stakes a notch higher, with some great prizes to be won.

Bell-to-Bell Battlers $3.00
Ding, Ding, Ding! Boxing class is in session. Join us for a fun way to exercise while working on your coordination and strength, all while relieving stress.

Learn to Sketch Class $5.00
This program is run by our talented and creative staff members. You’ll be shown basic sketching skills and techniques to help you create a beautiful masterpiece by the end of the term, which you can take home to showcase your new skills.

Train Travel to Bowling & Lunch Social Group
The group will travel by train to various locations for a friendly game of bowling with your friends and staff. Participants can purchase lunch of their choice while being part of the community and building social and money skills. Please bring your topped up Opal card and companion card.

Fishing and Exploring $3.00
Fishing is one of the most rewarding outdoor experiences. The wait, the fight with the catch, and the excitement or disappointment, make it a must-try activity.

Around the World Cooking and Recipe Book Creation $5.00
Flavors from around the world! This program focuses on planning, shopping, and food preparation skills. Taste your creation and add a new recipe to our centre’s recipe book collection.

Fall is in the Air Photography $4.00
Take in the outdoors and experience the beautiful autumn scenery. Capture photos of these stunning spots and create lasting memories with your friends. A brag book will be given at the end of the term.

Let’s explore our local favorite café for coffee and cake. A variety of options are available.

AM: Sunny Bunny Care and PM: Working at the Carwash $3
Help us look after our Hub pet, Sunny the Bunny. Let’s make sure her house is cleaned, her food and water are refreshed, and, of course, give her some love.
The car washing service is a fun and sensory way to raise money for our Hub afterwards.

Friday Funday Afternoon Dance Party
After completing our morning programs, let’s all come together, let our hair down, and end the week with a fun dance party.
