The Guildford hub is surrounded by parklands just waiting for you to have a kick or a hit in. It’s also the perfect place to learn some gardening skills with new friends in a relaxed and peaceful environment. Social outings include trips to the museum, sports and outdoor activities, scrapbooking, and cooking, while the Skills For Life program on-site helps you get more out of every day.

Arts and Craft $4
Let’s get crafty and create exciting art projects as a group and show off our handiwork to our family and friends.

Shop and Meal Prep $7
We’ll head to the local market to shop for our cooking program tomorrow and learn to spend on a budget.

Gardening and Beading $3
We’ll do a fun gardening session to learn everything about growing all things green and explore our creativity with beading.

Outdoor Furniture Restoration $4
Let’s breathe new life into our outdoor furniture at the Hub by restoring them to their former glory.

Cadden’s Cafe and Picnic in the Park $10
Every week we will visit our friends at Orchard Hills to have coffee and cake. After, we’ll spend some time at the park and picnic in the afternoon. Please bring a packed lunch and a drink.

Arts and Crafts $4
Let’s get crafty and create exciting art projects as a group and show off our handiwork to our family and friends.

Cooking $7
We’ll learn how to follow a recipe and measure ingredients to create a delicious treat in the kitchen.

Exploring Our City (Varied cost based on location)
Today, we set out to explore our local surroundings using public transport. Please bring your topped up opal card.

Music Movement
A fun session that you can tap along to and help soothe you with lots of singing and dancing.

Bingo $3
Who will be the first to yell BINGO! Using our numeracy skills, we will play a few friendly rounds of Bingo.

Bowling $6.50
We’ll head to the nearby bowling centre for a game of ten pins. Let’s enjoy some friendly competition with mates and see who can get a strike first.

Beauty Therapy $3
We’ll stimulate our senses with a sensory beauty session.

Gym, Fitness and Outdoor Sports
Time to hit the gym for some light exercises and a workout. After, let’s cool off with some outdoor sports like basketball.

Pen pals
Let’s put pen to paper and write our friends letters today and tell them all about our exciting week.

Sensory Room and Movie Day
We’ll use the Tovertafel projector that uses light, colour, and music to stimulate physical, social, and cognitive activity.

BBQ and Disco $7
It’s time to put on our boogie shoes, groove to some great dance tunes and have a BBQ after.

Skills For Life 
Empower yourself with knowledge, skills and experiences. This week, we will focus on building basic computer skills and cyber security.
