Armidale Community Services Hub is a beautiful, bright centre, providing people with disability a safe space to engage with the community, achieve NDIS goals and develop skills for life. Their specialised accessible kitchen is used in their cooking programs, supporting clients to build important life skills required to live independently. This is only the beginning with exciting plans to grow, watch this space.

Manic Mondays
Skills For Life – Literacy and Numeracy
This program is all about building and upskilling our basic life skills to grow independence and confidence. Designed for all ages, we will provide a range of tools to strengthen problem solving skills, increase self-awareness and build independence.
Baking For Beginners $10
Prepare to bake! Let’s get together and research some recipes, create our shopping list, manage our budget, put on our aprons and make some simple dishes to build our skills in the kitchen.
Join us to learn everything around fitness. We will use our fitness equipment in Hub and learn how to keep our bodies healthy and active.

Terrific Tuesdays
Body Beats
This group takes the ‘work’ out of the workout through low and high- intensity dance moves to some great music that will keep everyone fit and refreshed. Bring a packed lunch or buy your own.
The Kingsmen $10
This lads’ group is an up-beat, social club for our Sunnyfield gentlemen. We will socialise, explore the community and enjoy friendly sports activities. The lads will get together to engage, learn and have some fun before the weekend begins.
Tour and Explore $10
Is it a bus? Is it a train? Is it an automobile? No! It’s the Super Sunnyfield’s Tour and Explore program. Grab your Opal card and let’s explore our local communities. Along the way we will find a spot for a quick bite to eat and get back on route. This program will include travel training and safe use of public transport. Please bring a packed lunch and drink.

Bowling $12
Set it up to knock it down. Join us for bowling at the Sports and Rec for a team building and friendly competition. Please bring a packed lunch or money to purchase food while we are out and about.
MasterChef $10
Get ready to turn up the heat in the kitchen with the Armidale MasterChef’s! This cooking program will bring out the inner chef in you. Together, we will cook up a storm and create mouthwatering dishes that will impress even the toughest food critics!
Snazzy Snaps
If you’ve got an eye for photography, this program is for you! Each week as a group you’ll pick a different subject and explore a variety of locations and capture your visual stories to add to our photo boards in the Hub. So, let’s get snapping and make some wonderful memories.

Lego Masters
Let your imagination run wild and create with Lego. We will have an in house build competition each month and show off our creations.
Jokers
Take a break from the ordinary and join the Jokers social group for people with disability. We’ll share snacks, learn new games, make friends and have loads of fun. So, pull up a chair and let’s play.
Recycling Rockstars
Let’s get outside in our local community and collect and deposit recyclable goods. Saving up the raised money for purchasing equipment for the Hub or for exciting group adventures. We will learn all things recycling and how we can make small changes to benefit our environment. We will build our skills in money handling and work towards our fundraising goal. Please bring a packed lunch and drink.

Creative creatures $5
Fridays are all about getting crafty! We can create anything we wish from mosaics to portraits and then enter our creations into local art shows and showcase them across Sunnyfield services.
Girl power
The girl power group aims to foster a positive mindset and inner confidence, empowering women with disability to embrace her personal value, self-worth, and importance. This group aims to support women with disability to form meaningful friendships, build inner and outer strength and setting her up for success in the journey of life.
Music and Movement
Our groups will be grooving and moving on a Friday! Let’s develop our fine motor skills and creative expression through playing instruments and shakers to some of our favorite hits and give our vocal cords a workout by singing along to karaoke each afternoon.
